Kersfees kans deur Elsabé Welman

Two are sentenced: one self-imposed, the other halfway guilty.

Isak Kirsten blames himself for his bullying behavior on that fatal night. He must pay the price. He hides behind a new name, a new profession, and a scar. "Mister I should go star in a horror movie."

"Miss Antique" hides behind her old-fashioned clothes and survival wisdom. Annaret’s smile brings sunlight; her words are sharp, yet she has compassion for Isak’s soft side.

"The Fliksems" bring them together, but her handling of bullies keeps them apart. "Jiffy Day" releases the tension. Secrets make them fragile.

Does living again become an option, or remains an impossible task? Can self-imposed imprisonment be suspended? Isak Kirsten will have to find the answer.
