On March 20, 2025, the local literary scene in Bloemfontein celebrated a significant milestone. Renowned local "dreamer" and author Frikkie Dippenaar officially stepped into the world of print media with the launch of his first-ever solo collection, Misterieuse Raaisels (Mysterious Riddles).

The event was hosted at the beloved Books@Bloem by Beverley-Anne Steynberg, marking a proud moment for the Bloemfontein Writers’ Forum (BSF). After years of contributing to various anthologies, Frikkie’s evocative storytelling is finally available in a dedicated print edition.
